Jesus said to the Jews, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:54) Elsewhere I have seen in your answers that this statement should not be taken literally. But why shouldn't we take it literally? Is is because it is so unnatural? The Jews took the statement literally and many left Jesus for this very statement. But Jesus never stopped them and tell he wasn't talking in a literal sense. Because he was in fact talking in a literal sense.And he fulfilled that statement in the Last Supper.

Please read the passage further to find Jesus saying that His words are spirit and life. That is to say they are not flesh, to really eat His flesh. He didnt ask us to actually bite, chew, and eat His body or drink His blood into our mouths and physical stomachs. He literally gave His Body and Blood for us, yes and we really eat His body and drink His blood in a spiritual sense, yes. It is in fact real not imaginary. Only, it is real in the spiritual realm and not in an earthly sense that's all.

In James chapter 1 the author tells us that God does not temt anyone.But in the prayer that Jesus thought to his disciples Jesus says sometimes God leads us into temptation and tells us to ask God not to lead us into temptation.. Now.. Is not the Bible contradicting itself in this case..??

Allowing us to undergo a trial or temptation and tempting us to do evil (which God does not) are two different things.

According to the Bible (see below)a false prophet lies and says things that God didn't say while claiming that God said them and Samuel did not do this. Deu 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
